Rates:
Rates are agreed between the studio and the client, based on a sliding scale reflecting the status of the artist and ability to pay. Package deals and bundles are available, by negotiation
Working Hours:
Weekdays 10 - 6pm. Overtime charged at £50 ph and weekends available at our discretion. File transfer and preparation, backup and archiving included in booked studio hours
Booking:
All enquiries will be provisionally reserved for 5 days within which time the client should provide a 25% deposit via bank transfer. Deposits are refundable up to 14 days prior to the booked studio session. Changes to the booking can be accepted up to 14 days prior to the session
Please notify us (with reasonable notice) if you require the grand piano to be tuned. Additional fee of £60 required
Payment:
Payment in full becomes due at the end of the session and/or on delivery and approval of final masters. Masters remain the property of Rank Amateur Ltd until payment in full is received. mp3 reference mixes are supplied for approval prior to payment of the balance, and must not be made publicly available
Master Copies:
The session fee does not cover master files (the multi-track). If you would like copies and backups of sessions, please provide a suitable drive to backup to (i.e. USB, Thunderbolt, FW etc). Transfer times to be included in the session
Backups:
We archive all projects recorded in the studio and maintain them for a minimum of 12 months. The integrity of backups is not guaranteed
Studio Equipment:
A range of outboard and backline is available for use by the artists, subject to prior agreement. All electrical equipment must be turned off when not in use
Damages:
Damages excluding general wear and tear are payable by the client. Cleaning costs incurred above and beyond the normal maintenance of the studio premises shall be incurred by the client at our discretion
General Behaviour:
We operate a no smoking and no drugs policy within the studio premises. We live in a small rural Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Please be respectful of our community!
Accessability:
There are steps within the building. Please advise us in advance of any special requirements
WiFi:
Internet access is provided to clients free, subject to the standard definitions of fair usage
